Any New Zealand-owned and operated business which manufactures and supplies soft furnishings direct to end users, or provides soft furnishing services (such as fitters or interior designers), may apply to become a member of Soft Furnishing Associates (SFA).
There are two major benefits:
- A featured listing and webpage (optional) in our business directory, within your geographic area, and located above all non-member listings on that page
- Access to other members for support, inspiration, shared information and knowledge and potentially referred customers.
There are three membership options and fees:
- Members who choose to have a feature text listing plus full web page on this site pay a fee of $245 + GST for the first year, dropping to $195 + GST for subsequent years.
- Members who want only a feature text listing (but no web page on this site) pay an annual fee of $100 + GST. (You may add a web page at any later time by paying an extra $50 set-up fee plus $95 +GST per year.)
- Members who want to be members-only, with no special feature listing, pay an annual fee of $50 + GST. (You may add a web page or feature text listing at any later time for an extra payment.)

Who can join?
Soft Furnishing Associates membership is open to business satisfying these conditions:
- New Zealand owned and operated businesses or individuals, AND
- Businesses for which a significant proportion of their activity is making soft furnishings (that is, it is not for firms that only supply fabrics, or carpets, or outsource all their manufacture, etc.)
- (or) Related businesses such as fitters and interior designers, who believe they will help the group as a whole.
