Custom Curtains NZ Ltd (now The Interior Tailor) has been in making soft furnishings for over 10 years. Under new ownership since 2006, it is operated by Linda Kirk. Linda has completed a comprehensive course covering all aspects of the soft furnishings industry.
We are a home-based manufacturing business, located in Auckland, that offers a complete window treatment design service in the comfort of your own home. We offer a quality service and affordable pricing. Our services include:
- Quotation: We offer a free measure and quotation service within the Auckland area. If you are outside the Auckland area a call-out fee may apply.
- Design: We can visit your home to discuss fabrics, colours, tracks, accessories and make recommendations to suit the look you desire.
- Fabric: We can provide all major fabric brands at competitive prices. Samples are available for perusal in your own home or you can provide your own fabrics if preferred. All types of linings are also available.
- Curtains: We can custom-make all types of pleated curtains, including Pencil Pleat, French, Dutch, Ripplefold and Inverted Pleats.
- Blinds: Blinds are made to measure, they include Timber, Roman, Sunscreen, Verticals and Venetians
- Rods and Tracks: All types of rods and tracks are available in standard sizes or custom-made to measure.
- Accessories: We can make cushions, tie backs, squabs and other accessories to match your window treatments.
- Installation: We offer a full installation service for all your window treatments and accessories.
- Alterations and Repairs: We have a full alteration and repair service available.
