Founded in 2004, Thread of Scarlet is operated by Jodie Leppan. Jodie has completed a soft furnishing course, covering all aspects of the soft furnishing industry.

Thread of Scarlet is a home-based manufacturing business, based in Pukekohe, Franklin. We manufacture curtains, fabric blinds and soft furnishings. We offer the following products and services:

  • Free measure and quote in the Franklin area
  • Assist you with choosing a colour scheme to suit your home, in line with your colour preferences
  • Curtains: Pencil Pleat, New York Pleat, Dutch Pleat, French Pleat, Inverted Pleat, Eyelets, Tab Top
  • Roman Blinds
  • Samples of fabrics, tracks, rods, blinds in the comfort of your home
  • Fabric from James Dunlop, Warwick, Maurice Kain, Nettex, M Simonson - your selection depending on whether you are after a contemporary look, a natural English country look, or a more traditional look
  • Choose from fabrics including blends, natural linens, prints and textured fabrics
  • We also make from your own fabric, if preferred
  • Venetian blinds, vertical blinds
  • Rollershades, sunscreens
  • Tracks and rods from Matisse, Rufflette and Vanda
  • Professional Installation

Jodie will be involved from the measure and quote, choosing fabrics and rods, manufacture, right through to being there for the installation of your window furnishings. We are open Monday to Friday - normal business hours. And after hours by appointment.
